The life of Ed Bambas, a grocery store worker in Michigan, changed in a blink in early December 2025. TikTok creator Samuel Weidenhofer visited the store to meet him after a comment on one of his videos mentioned an “82-year-old” still working. A little suspicious at first, Bambas then opened up about why he still worked full-time at his age, which turns out to be 88.
